Eric, Mauricio,
I set up a garage run for one of my COX 010-s equipped with the PET (Proportional Exhaust Throttle, patented by the late and great Roger Freiheit) under the rather rudimentary conditions of my garage, and here is what I managed. Top speed was around 23.3k (cold weather and only 20% nitro in the fuel), and stable idle was reached somewhere below 13k while the engine stopped when fully throttled around 11k.
A number of conditions including fuel supply (the balloon tank works well for the 049 and 09 engines of proper suction power), nitro content, and daytime temperature should improve before an authentic and reliable test can be concluded.

Thank you very much Andras for sharing and taking the time to make the video, it would be interesting to make those adjustments that you mention and thus establish the real performance of this PET accessory.
Brad has modified an engine of his property by making an acceleration ring, stop doing very well, it would be very good to see the results in comparison.
All this for those of us who are very interested in the R / C

The next drawing will be held in June. It will be amongst the January - June Cox Engine of the Month winners. The drawing that includes all participants (including those who have entered pictures but didn't win Cox Engine of the Month) will be held at the end of the year. So, get your pictures taken and submitted!
