Re: My first Rc plane build and fly!
Welcome, colibriguitars.
I hope your plane survived your learning curve. It looked like a pretty tough bird. I fly control line, not RC, but I know RC takes a lot of practice. That soccer field doesn't have a lot of room for practicing. If you had a large area where you could fly very high, you would have more time to figure out the controls before it meets the ground.
What engine do you have on your plane, it sounds like an .049?

Well, I live in Mexico city so it´s hard to find a bigger place! THe plane is made all of balsa sheet, with a beauty black and gold golden bee, the plane has survived 7 falls with minor damages. The plane´s weigth ready to fly is 289 grs.

Re: My first Rc plane build and fly!
I posted some advice on the RCGroups forum with a modeler in Mexico several months ago. He was looking for Cox engine parts and advice. Would that have been you?

What is that??? Looks like a 30's motor with spark ignition and updraft carb, but the plastic parts say 50's or 60's?

Hi CG
Welcome to the FunnyFarm.
To my untrained eye that vid looked like one (or combination) of three things
1 too much downthrust on the engine
2 too nose heavy
3 not enough up trim
I did say 3 didn't I......
and
4 your control surfaces had far too much movement try reducing the throws a little bit.
Besta Luck
