Walt Musciano Little Devil

Post  RknRusty on Thu Oct 27, 2011 10:21 am

I'm posting this for a new mwmber at RCG. I think he wants a pre-built one. They are so simple, you can build and fly it in a day, as soon as the paint dries.
I am looking for an original 1950's Lil Devil.. Know where I can buy one, new or used?
I told him I'd let him know if anything turned up.

nitroairplane,

The Little Devil you point to is a current kit from Black Hawk Models. They have been reviewed and approved by Walt Musciano. What the guy above is looking for is the original version from 1950. The Scientific kits went through re-design over the years to cut kit costs and update for modern engines.

Some of the changes include removing the airfoiled wing and replace with 1/8" balsa, and shorten nose to balance with tanked engines.

I currently have two Little Bipes of the newer design. One sports a Babe Bee, the other a Spitzy .045. My first Scientific plane was the old design with an OK Cub up front.
