I want to mount a Tee Dee .049 to my Stuntman23 which is rigged for a Bee type engine. Is this what I need for the Tee Dee?

Guess what! I have one. One of our generous members, Fit90 has a Tee Dee .049 that is sad and depressed because it never gets to soar the blue skies and zoom across the grass clipping weed tips, so he is sending it to me for therapy. I'm gonna fix it good!nitroairplane wrote:No,
You also need a tee dee

I'll also include an engine mount so there is one less thing to order.

Re: Is this what I need to convert a Tee Dee to radial mount?
Once again, thanks. I doubt if I have much to offer as far as hardware goes, but if I do I'll pass it on to whoever needs it. I have a lot of C/L experience so I hope I can offer good advice to you guys, whether it's building, flying tips, or whatever. Great group we have here. And at the behemoth, RCG too.fit90 wrote:I'll also include an engine mount so there is one less thing to order.
I went flying today and got some good videos. I'm editing them in Windows Live Movie Maker now. I should have them posted later tonight.

You can get also one of these screw on back plate radial engine mounts from Texas Timers. They are great.

Just as a side note in case someone uses a Cox mount for a NV or WASP, their crankcase is just a hair wider than the TD. In some cases you need to taper a tight-fitting mount at the top. I don't remember if the Dave Brown mount is one of these.
