Well said Kim!
Happy Thanksgiving guys!
I just finished cooking biscuits and gravy, and hashbrowns for breakfast. Now it's time to get the bird ready for the oven.

Like my favourite "Author Guy" Christopher Moore put it:
"Happy thanksgiving, American Homeys.
Everybody else, Happy Thursday!"
Truly a great tradition

Re: A Happy Thanksgiving to the Greatest!!!!!!!!
Tough to add much to what has already been posted other than Happy Thanksgiving to a great bunch.
Re: A Happy Thanksgiving to the Greatest!!!!!!!!
Yes, Kim was up early with his coffee pot going.
My turkey is now in the roaster, stuffing is cooking slow, turkey neck and gibblets simmering for gravy, and finally Boston baked beans need to be put in the cast iron dutch oven. Then I get a shower and out of my PJs, the slippers will stay on, and I don't care who doesn't like it.
We can dream of a CEF Thanksgiving with food and flying!

Happy Thanksgiving! We got an inch or so of wet snow last night here in Rhode Island. A "White Thanksgiving" is nice.. especially if you're staying at home. A fresh 20lb. Butterball has been roasting since noon, and it smells heavenly!
Re: A Happy Thanksgiving to the Greatest!!!!!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving all!!
Haven't even eaten yet, and I'm already thinking about leftovers.
Enjoy,
Bob

Re: A Happy Thanksgiving to the Greatest!!!!!!!!
I'm dreaming of a white.........................Thanksgiving??????? What we awoke to this morning.
Fluttering lights and cold temperatures, but the electric stayed on even if we had to reset all of the digital clocks. Better than our daughter that lives a few miles away. She lost all power for 24 hours with our Thanksgiving dinner in her refrigerator/freezer. She buried it in a snow bank last night. Seriously.
First non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner we ever had. Tempora scrimp, flounder, yams, broccoli, Red Lobster (Costco item) biscuits and cheese cake. Missed the Turkey, but that comes this weekend as her employer gives them out.
It’s great to be a small part of this forum and get the chance to know this happy bunch of balsa busters and engine tuners.

You're all right, giving thanks to all our friends and family. Too much food, too much fun,
Not enough room for 2nds or 3rds
best thanksgiving day ever. Also the shortest prayer, " Please bless these sinners, who are about to eat dinner, Amen".

Well, just as everyone has said already, What a great day!
The friends and family have gone home and we are just sitting around feeling like we ate too much.
