Santana plans by Dale Kirn now available

Post  KariFS on Wed Aug 17, 2016 11:10 am

Just a heads-up. New plan added to outerzone.com, "Santana" by mr Kirn, complete with the magazine article. Cool looking little speed ship Smile

That's a sweet looking plane, and there's
LH crankshafts out there too.
Matt has them here http://www.exmodelengines.com/cox-.049-.051-tee-dee-crankshaft-lh.html
Thanks Kari.

Saw that yesterday. I downloaded the plans and article, but don't think I'll build one any time soon. Unless there's a Cox Proto contest or something.

Cool design, for kids that couldn't figure out how to build a helmet cooling cool and all of that for Proto (not Profile Proto). Left hand crank to keep it out on the lines on launch, Dale made the props for them, he was a real proponent of Speed and did what he could to make it available and simple for kids. Very few came to the plate...
