Will you heat it in the winter with an electric heater or similar?

You can never have enough space to work in and store things.

That is a very posh shed - I can't imagine one of those being trailered around London. I am envious of the space some of you chaps have, That would take up my entire garden!

Trust me you want to insulate it even if you do not plan to heat it. If it is for equipment then the foil bubble wrap stuff is probably enough, but if you plan to work in there other than the spring or fall then you want the insulation or it will be hard to keep somewhat cool, and hard to heat.

A small window air conditioner cut into the wall will be plenty for most of the summer if you are wiring it for electricity. A kerosene or electric space heater for the winter.

Bob, Sorry, but, I could tell even before it was slid off that fancy dancy trailer.....it's too small!!   I inherited a small dual bag dust collector' along with a jointer, planer and a few hand tools when my father in law passed away. He had the neatest shop set up in the basement. He did scroll work and lots of hand made toys for the grandkids. But, no mater what he did, dust collector, filter units and exhaust fans, he could not keep Grandma from complaining about the "sawdust"  "all over the house"  So a separate enclosed building for sawing and sanding is just what you need, and should work out just fine! Please keep,us posted and post some pictures of the new set  -up.

PS: it looks to me like you will have two new Windows to look out into the pine forest from inside the new building.
