Took the Cardinal out today. First wingover, my troubled neck gave out. Got the plane down okay. Pinched spinal cord. Pf painful lightening bolts. I'll be away a little while. Hope prednisone works it's magic. Hope I'll be back soon. Don't fret, I'm a survivor. Update soon. No computre chair allowed, horizontal only.
Love you guys,
Rusty

All the best in getting through this. I really enjoy your accounts, and thank you for the help with the pressure tank - I got the parts and have to get it together.

Saying one for you,

Best,

PG

Thanks guys. I'm cheating right now to post one message. Doc says it might be like a stinger. The inflammation will probably subside. She thinks I'll be able to fly again. I've known about the arthritis in there for a little over a year. I don't seem to have any motor problems, just lightening bolts. Prednisone and pain meds are helping. Anyway a knock on the front door revealed this:

A Twister wing, hot damn!
Pretty sure one of our esteemed and generous members had something to do with this.
Thanks so much, esteemed and generous member. I'll be contacting you later for a proper thanks... ouch... gotta go.
See y'all in the funny pages.
Rusty

Well looks like Walt Umland heard that you crunched your beautiful Twister wing --- and seeing as you were having such a good time with his version of a Fancherized Twister--he got conned into cutting a new one while he too is on the mend.... of course you NOW need to get better fast,,,, when I had my real bad (stinger?) neck pain, wife filled a long sock with rice and tied off the end....microwave for 2 min yields a nice n hot wrap for my neck n shoulder that HELPED a lot....wink

Thanks, esteemed and generous friend. My wife does the same with a cloth cylinder of cherry pits. Now I just sit and dreamily look at my box-o-wing. Worse than a new Red Ryder BB gun on a rainy Christmas day.

Sorry to hear about that, Rusty. I feel your pain, really.
After s short stint on prednisone, I'm finally scheduled
for a epidural this Wednesday. Sciatic lightning bolt
down my left leg.
I hope you're back in the circle soon.

Hey Malibu, good to hear from you. See Jim's avatar:

That's me in the middle of that wingover Lol. It shocked my left hand so bad it still feels like it got hit with a hammer. Most of the rest of me is a lot better except just a little tinge in two right fingers and toes.
Maybe I can work on my Micro Ringmaster in the house... if assistant flight surgeon Holley will let me.
