Cyclon 15

Cyclon 15
I don't know much about this motor at all except that it is 2.5 cc and is a Cyclon. It also has a strange looking lug at the base of the crankcase.

I don't have any of these engines myself, but I think the lug at the bottom is for the safety wire. There would be a cable that runs from that lug to the bell-krank so that you will never get a fly away engine, no matter how hard you crash in the air....

Re: Cyclon 15
This engine displays some identical designs to the Mezjlik Kozyol " Billy Goat" . Many of the Russian engines are named after animals. This is certainly a older Cyclon. Many of the newer Cyclons of the PC series don't have their intakes up top but rather on the bottom. The lug as Kris mentions is indeed used for a engine restraint. Engine restraints are also required for speed limit combat.

Pretty much all of the F2D engines use a head button vs a glow head. The holes you see on the top of the head utilizes a spanner wrench and that portion is removed from the top of the head. Almost all of them use a Nelson style glow head.
