Intensive care

Intensive care
I'm a new proud Papa, born yesterday in ebays intensive care ward. Hospitals and doctors fees totaled $2.80. Most will say - What an ugly little critter, but I see a beautiful little fella after some scrubbing that some day may power around a balsa P-40 or F6F.

Re: Intensive care
Ha! I never thought of that! Not to worry though, Doc says I'm in great shape. Just had a complete physical, EKG, the whole works necessary for my cataract surgery now scheduled for January eleventh.
I used to take my Mom for her annual physicals when she was in her late 90's. Her doctor often called in the other doctor to look at her vital signs, they are better than mine he said.

BTW, I have "won" Enya's like that for .99 cents in the past.

It's a .15-IV 3304 Terry. I just look for these old Enya's that start out at .99 cents and drop a bid. Sometimes I get lucky, this one had 3 bidders. I always look for a .15II partzer to rob the connecting rod from. I need one for this old nickle plated screws Enya/Thunder Tiger variant. Somehow I'm attached to it but other Enya's .15 rods won't fit, just the II model
It was in worse condition than the IV, but it cleaned up well. I have since found all the other parts, NVA, prop washers etc. necessary to restore it, just missing that pesky con rod.

You always do a great job cleaning 'em up, Bob, and best of luck with the con rod search - I'll keep an eye out too.

Re: Intensive care
Thanks guys, I appreciate the sentiment.
Ha Eric, I doubt that, I could slip on a banana peel tomorrow and bash my hard head or have 79 years catch up to me real fast. I live day to day.

My friend you are living and that's what counts , going through some supplies that i need to repair and sell to some new fun seekers out there , and i have had a few it is good to hear someone say my engines i sell start up and run good for them , its a lot to repair to run with someone else at the wheel to turn the prop to run . i have been sending people here for 2 yrs. i hope there are some here and learning what it takes to have the joy of that engine and to run it successfully! wish you would run more of your clean ups ! Eric
