Hi Guys,

I have had this for about 40 years. Was in a Cox Comanche, CL model. Plastic very detailed, full fuselage, wheels etc.
The head was modded to fit a normal plug 30 years ago.
I would like to get parts for it and get it up and running again.
Any of the Comanches still around?

Regards

Simon, welcome to CEF Hand Shake

Your engine looks like a Cox Sportsman .15. A pretty rare engine nowadays, but the head is the same as on the later Medallion .15.

7x6-8x4 and try various manufacturers. If you can find some wood props, they will certainly do better in rpm's.

Hi Simon, welcome to CEF. Glad you found us.

Do you, by any chance, know Theo Kleynhans and/or Keith Renecle from South Africa? I'm not sure if Keith is a member here, he is at Stunthangar.com, and Theo is a member here, though we haven't heard from him lately. I asked Keith and he says Theo is doing fine, just very busy.

See you in the forums,
Rusty
