Idea of a model for Cox Tee Dee 0.051 and ...Medallion 0.049!Flight
Well, I finally decided .... I like many models that are on the web and I like to build them ... I was hanging around until finally I decided to make something.
I like 0.010, 0.020, 0.049, 0.051 .... mmmm all
! And then I go for a model that can use one of these engines and changing the centering, it will be possible to replace the engine and place another and give me the pleasure to use one and another ..within 0.049 / 0.051.... well.
I am choosing some parts of the Dee Bee, stabilizer, rudder and profile and I started to draw a simple fuselage but at the same time I was nice.
Here I leave some photos of the beginning ...... let's see what results from all this !?

Great looking model, Mauricio. You have much more patience in me. I'm looking forward to the result.

Very nice work Mauricio! I wish I had your drive and patience. I'm sure that another excellent flying model will come from your efforts!

Thanks !, Roddie .... it is possible that in your new workshop you will want to build ....
By the way, you have a beautiful place to have a few beers and kick off a few engines and enjoy nature !!

Great job!! I've never done that hot wire thing but you seem to get along well with that. very cool.

The wing looks great so far.
Is there any particular reason for using white glue instead of epoxy?

Beautiful work....What foam did you use for the cores? High density styrofoam?

Thank you! ... you have to try the ideal temperature point of the wire and then it comes to practice.

Thank you! ... Yes, the use of glue "carpenter's glue" instead of epoxy has many advantages, it is very easy to apply, and when the curing begins, it begins to evaporate the excess, leaving only the necessary between the parts to paste , Is extremely strong and while you do the work you have time to move as many times as you need until you are sure of the correct location of the parts.
If you use epoxy, all the material you put there, will remain and will not evaporate, therefore generating an extra weight.
Make me friend that the carpenter's tail is an extraordinary and old glue checked its result.
The epoxy glue used only to glue the center of wings, to "fill even some extra pore between the parts.

Many thanks !, the foam here known as telgopor, the one I am using is medium density.
According to the merchant these are the characteristics:
Low density (common) = 11 kg / m3
Medium density = 20 kg / m3 (this is the one I am using in this work)

Very Nicely done my friend , i take it you're making two models not just one maybe your friend needs a fling friend . The foam cutter does a good clean job and as always you make it look easy ! Thank You for sharing

Eric, my friend !, thanks for your message ... that's right, I'm doing two models simultaneously, I have some engines that I would like to use, and I really like these small models, I enjoy doing them - building, flying and observing them as a collector's piece , As the years pass each one of these pieces will bring me memories and that makes me well !.
It is a pleasure for me to share with you my friend and with CEF friends!

Here it is at 10.45 am in the morning and just place the trailing edge and attack edges on each wing, now to wait for the drying. Although in an hour the glue (carpenter's glue) already makes a previous cure, I like to let stand for 24 hours, ensuring an extremely strong bond...
