Ken Cook graciously mailed me a fuel-bulb and glow-clip recently.. and tonight I decided to wire-up the clip as a spare. The clip is a NIP oldie that was offered by "Kap-Pak"; a distributor of various model supplies back in the day.

I had some good 4C 18ga. high-flex wire that I'd scrounged from a previous job.. so I stripped-off its insulating jacket and got out my soldering equipment, terminals and banana-plugs.

My Cox glow-clips have been giving me fits lately... so I figured that this clip might be a good back-up. I also wanted a clip that would work with my "Testors" 1/2A engines' glow-heads. This clip will give me some options. Thanks Ken! Thumbs Up

Looks good another top tip:
Heat Shrink over the insulation and connectors to eliminate fractured copper strand loss over time.

Roddie, just be careful when using it on conventional side exhaust engines. You can accidentally insert the bottom of the clip into the exhaust port. Not a problem until one flips the prop.
