Calm Air on the Hill Today !!

Calm Air on the Hill Today !!
Got more than half-way through the day with assorted boring responsible stuff before noticing that the air had gone almost totally calm, so....
The Black Widow on my 1/2A Nobler from Vintage Models had just gotten some new gaskets, but hadn't flown much since I picked it up at this year's S.M.A.L.L. Fly-In. I flew it a couple times before changing out it's 5-3 gray for a 6-3 to slow the thing down on it's 35 feet of spiderwire.
Also pulled the venerable old 'Big Otto' from the cobwebs and woke up it's Black widow for a couple flights as the sun went down...which happens amazingly fast this time of year....
Good day in that I didn't plant either one, so good times on the hill for now!

What am I missing here. No kick wire to the stooge? Wireless electronics? Anybody ever come up with something out of an old Honda etc. wireless door lock opener. Hit the FOB and the stooge releases the lock.
roddie to the rescue.

You just have to love Big Otto. Mine is hanging from the ceiling but I dust it off now and then. I think this year I'm going to focus more on Otto. Ken

Yeah. 'bout my favorite (most of the time, but can vary) Scientific Model. This one's been going a long time, though it got a new snout a few years ago!
