Don't ever buy name brand as the improvements happen fast, why pay top money
for a sports camera when the tech gets surpassed quickly.

You want high 20 Mega Pixels clarity to view objects further away.
You also need big 2k / 4K video to place on a large screen to see the
object you are filming more clear.

Agree....I bought my Sony some 2 +years ago and then it was an upper-midclass gadget sold at the related price level....now I see similar stuff is sold at less than half price 2 years later....
