Some of what the link note says:

Why is Friend's Day celebrated on July 20?
The date is also celebrated in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Spain.
The landing seemed an event that had such a unanimous adhesion that the dentist Enrique Ernesto Febbraro did not hesitate: July 20 should be the Day of the Friend.
On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong set foot on the Moon. For this reason, this date remained in the collective consciousness as an achievement of the whole world.
Febbraro defined himself as "professor of psychology, philosophy, history, musician", as well as a dentist. He was a high member of the Argentine freemasonry, like Edwin Buzz Aldrin, colonel of the Air Force of the United States, the second man who stepped on the Moon.
His idea of friendship had epochal features: "Friendship is chaste: if it is mixed with sex, it is something else. And with both a man and a woman, it has to be based on respect. "
Febbraro died on November 4, 2008. In his last interview, given to the newspaper La Voz del Interior, he assured that "friendship is the most outstanding virtue because it is disinterested anyway".

The intention was to share with you too, since I consider them friends of the forum.
That is all.- Smile

Here is a good pic of the earth from the moon / happy friend day!  Small Cox Logo

The is a modern pic showing the old land rover's deterioration after
all the years since it was first placed on the moon. Meteorites have
been hitting it for years as there is no atmosphere to protect the surface.

Original rover prior to all the damage.

Apollo 16 - 5th Moon Landing / Astronauts John Young, Charlie Duke
NASA documentary on the flight of Apollo 16. Film includes launch, lunar landing,
traverses on foot and in the "moon buggy, and return to earth. NASA film HQ-222

Here they took the rover out to this large dark rock to snag a sample not knowing if it was
an asteroid or part of the moon is why the effort was made to sample it.
