McCoy .049 No. 2
Hello,
Is there a good source for locating a McCoy No. 2 .049 engine that the members could direct me to? Thanks.

The only “source “ I’m aware of is Ebay. Youve posted Wanted add here. Try also on Rc groups or RC universe. Are you trying to match an existing engine or replace a period correct model? There are a number of various iterations of that 049, as previously discussed.

I do have a No.2 but not really spare, along with a couple of No.1s and various Testors and Wen Mac variations. You shouldn't have too much trouble tracking one down. If not, get back to me and we'll see if I can maybe help out. Mind you, I'm in Australia so postage might be a killer.

McCoy .049 No. 2
Hello
Thank you for the replies about this engine. I have been looking on Ebay periodically and came across only one No. 2 recently but it didn't have the needle valve specific to my application and I don't know if it was locked up or had any compression. I'm no expert on this type of engine but I thought that $45.00 was a bit pricey for what the motor was and what it needed. Shipping from Australia would definitely be cost prohibitive but I do appreciate the offer of assistance. Thank you.
