Shocked Re: The Twin Terror

Eric, they're a bit of a rarity today and one you don't see often. I do have one which is not fully completed but close. The ideal powerplant to use for this plane is the  Fox .19 stunt from the 50's that appearance wise looks identical to the Fox .35 Stunt. This engine was also made in a .25 size. Both sizes were not as common as the .35 stunt. Their weight makes them ideal for this plane. Modern .15's would suffice due to their power output. On another note, Consolidated made some very neat designs. Paul Delgatto was responsible for many. The WOW is one of my favorites. The Super Firebrand, WOWEE.

I like the looks of the Twin Terror. In the past , kits fetched considerable money and with shipping even more. Without the drawings, this one might be reasonable.

There's a butt load of parts in this plane. If I was to do it over, I could eliminate a lot of them. Looking at the picture on EBAY, I wouldn't offer $10 on that kit. Most of it is missing. You have a constant chord wing making rib replication easy but the leading and trailing edges are somewhat special in this kit and I don't see them.

Ken, you can see the leading and trailing edges in this picture, they have the groove lengthwise. If it's all there? that's something else.
