A new member in my Cox team!

A new member in my Cox team!
Well ... after an auction, wait a few days and premeditate how I would restore it, I finally received this Cox Tee Dee .020 ...
It was full of some residue, but Cox engines are so noble that I do not worry too much about bidding ... I finally won the auction, I received the engine and I started working on it.
Wash it properly by removing all the residues, take care of the interior of the engine seriously, make a bronze throttle ring, starting from a nut of that alloy and the result is great .... I love my new Cox .020!
*This was how it looked in the Auction:

Thanks Kim for leaving your comment here! ...
I also made a ring in aluminum, since the Carb Body, had a crack in the neck (probably over the years) ... finally everything is tight and functional ...
Replace the tank with a back plate also from Cox that was in stock!
I am very happy with this Cox Tee Dee .020! ... soon I will make some video to share here!

It's nice to know these old engines are falling into such capable hands. Good work, Mauricio!

Thanks András, there is no glue here ... anyway I have another piece in stock that I have tried at some time and I have recovered it, so, I make the replacement and ready ... meanwhile I will order a new replacement from Cox International !

I have placed that repaired piece while I wait for it

Rusty, it's an honor that you value me that way. Well, I dedicate a lot of love to these pieces ... I can not let them die, so I try to use all the means I have to recover them and listen to them work again.
I have achieved it, look at you; I have managed to regulate very nicely:

It's already late, (night time) the neighbors sleep ... but I indulged myself while I enjoy my beer listening to it go at low turns in the rocking of my house ... I'm happy!

This is Eric ... I have a neighbor who has many dogs, you should listen to them in chorus! haha ... I think that's why we tolerate ourselves!

¡Oye!
quilombo = disorder (one of the meanings)ticomareado wrote:And the old you tolerates the quilombo of riding the little motor in the kitchen?

Hey! ... you write in Spanish ... where are you from?
No, my old woman lives in another house ... but she would not have problems, she has shown me in many years of living in her house!
