As my building and flying time has been ridiculously curtailed, I look for fast builds that are good homes to the many 1/2A engines I have accrued.
This popped up on Outerzone.co.uk this past week - interesting fast build.
It's kind of a skinny rat and I might have to fashion a chunkier-looking one - ha.

Looks like it would be a quick and simple build. Should fly and glide well too with that thick wing profile. Tail end looks a little short though
It is nice how the modern radios and especially battery packs make it reasonably easy to adapt old free-flight designs to radio assist

I agree about the amazing tech we are living with, nowadays.
We are able to pull of what were literally dreams I had when I was a kid in the late 60s and early 70's.
If you go back to things you would say to yourself as a kid that start with the words "Wouldn't it be neat if...," so much has become reality.
If you read the article about this plane/plan, the last comments mention that for R/C you may want to go with sheet stabs/rudder/elevator.
The author didn't mention about size, but probably increased easy enough, with a thought toward balance while you do that.
