NorVel .061 muffler wanted...cheap!
Hi guys,
Anyone here stripping a Norvel .061 (alternatively, maybe .049)?
My AP P-40 WAS running the muffler "backwards." This pointed the pressure tap up, conveniently for my tank pressure. However, the revolving outlet keeps rotating into the venturi.
So I turned the AP muffler to point normally, but the pressure tap now points to starboard. Now it takes a much less direct path to the tank fitting.
Let me know what you have.
Thanks,

Thanks 1/2A,
The STL in appears to have no pressure fitting. Odd for one that isn't a BigMig (looks.like AMA/AMD).
The OEM new is nice, but it is also $27 delivered.
Did I mention I'm cheap? This is to save about 1"-2" of fuel line and to clean up the wiggle-wag path the line runs to the tank.
Still looking!

Hey Stranger! Did you ever find your muffler? I am sure I have 10 of them, let me know, I am sure we can work something out.944_Jim wrote:Thanks 1/2A,

akjgardner,
Actually, you keep sending the PM's to me. Lol! 944_Jim is the one that was looking for the muffler. But I do appreciate your generosity and your persistence.

Wow...one of mine dragged out of the grave!
I appreciate the attention guys. One of the SH crowd hooked me up later last year. It was for my Scientific P-40 profile model. I want to say the kind fellow's name is Bill Adair. I'd have to check that thread for the thanks I posted.
Scotty, I sent a PM with email address. I'll also review your latest posts on CEF.
Again, thanks for checking back!
