Popeye Fun-Fly is Assaulted by the Carcass of Hurricane Gordon !!!

So, got up early to watch the radar tell me how wet I'll get if I try to fly today.  The Breezy Hill Flyers (along with the city of Chester, Illinois) had scheduled their Popeye Weekend for today and tomorrow.  Chester was the home town of Popeye creator Elzie Crisler Segar, and they promote it as tourist attraction, along with the Breezy Hill Club doing their model airplane thing.

We don't have a rain date for the two day event, so our fall-back position is looking like Sunday.

The van is loaded, so I'll probably go up there today just to see if any of the guys are holed-up under the pavilion.  

I'll report on SOMETHING, even if I have to make it up!
