Fox 049/07/09/10 parts inventory
Does anyone have contact details for the current owner of the Fox 049/07/09/10 residual parts inventory that was originally held by H&R Engines? I am aware that it has changed hands a couple of times since Randal Hopkins and Richard Rikel started out selling Fox 049s again in the mid 1990s (when I purchased my Fox 049 FAI Spl. I have a couple of other back burner small Fox restoration projects I want to advance but I need to know what spares are still left in the pile before I commit too much time and energy. Or rephrasing the initial question-"who is the guy currently selling the Fox 049 FAI Special?" -as he is probably the one with the residual inventory....the last name I was aware of was a Doug Martin-but that was about 5 years ago-and it may have changed hands since

To my knowledge, It's still Doug Martin. I contacted him recently for some .07 parts. Unfortunately, he has a lot of inventory that was never fully machined as far as pistons and cylinders are concerned. He has no one or way to complete them for a manageable budget.

Doug is a great guy and we were in touch with him several years ago with the possibility of arranging to finish the "in process" items together. I will see if I have his contact information.

Thanks for the heads up Ken-and it is the 07 stuff that primarily interests me (though I'm not averse to getting some 09 bits should they be available as well)

Chris, my buddy Dennis is selling some Fox .09- .10 parts. Here is the listing it's on another site but I could certainly put you in touch for pictures if desired. All I can say is that all of his stuff is top notch as described. I own a lot of his engines.
This is mainly for someones collection but you can run it if you wish.
It is a NIB Fox 09. The box is definitely not pristine but the warranty and instruction sheets are there. Duke used really cheap cardboard in those days. There are a few extras. 7 new glow plugs 3 wrenches new.The wrench did not come with the engine and was an after sale accessory. 3 crankshafts New. 2 backplates some light surface rust on them. 2 complete new Piston/liner with con rods one is NIP. assortment of prop nuts tank gaskets, head gaskets and prop nuts. All are new and many are nip.
$70.00 for everything with $6.00 maximum shipping cost Conus only
Next are a few Fox 10 parts
3 new plugs and 3 backplates new.
$15.00 mainly for the plugs. Shipping not over $5.00 conus only
Pay Pal preferred. send address with your offer. prompt shipping guaranteed.

My last contact with Doug was also about 6 years ago. I have messages from both the following addresses.
foxengines@aol.com
dougsengines@hotmail.com. (I think this one is his Paypal address)
