Bob are you sure these are Silver Bees only reason i ask is i sold one to a guy that pointed out some things to me i didnt know .... form Wika..
1959 Super Bee (Cat# 350-1) Babe Bee with twin bypass cylinder to give more power for the P40 Warhawk RTF model. Early version had 'P40' stamped on the cylinder. It had a standard Babe Bee tank. ****^^ 1964 Silver Bee (Cat# 350-6) Similar to the Super Bee but it had a larger 8cc non-vented fuel tank. It did not have P40 stamped on the cylinder but it did have the twin bypass ports. This engine came with the Spitfire RTF airplane. wrote:

If it has a two port SPI #1 cylinder, it's a Silver Bee or a well cobbled facsimile thereof.

Re: Silver Bee's keep following me home
The Silver Bee that came with a damaged cylinder is marked 2 and has a single by pass port. Probably a replacement. For grins I just replaced it with a later dual by pass #7.
I have not removed the cylinder from the other Silver Bee to check ports. The one pictured above is coming. Looks to have tool marks on the case and prop drive. I will check that one for ports when it arrives. I got my SB information from the Dannels/Sitter book.

You don't have to remove cylinder to check ports if piston is free. Just get a mini flashlight (and magnifying glass for old geezer vision) and look inside with piston at BDC.
