OS also made a anniversary billet MAX 6 engine.
Saito had a gold plated 30 4 stroke too. These bring good money.

Re: All that Glitters Is Not Gold
A little perspective, definitely for the wealthy who have a lot of disposable cash.
For the gold plated .11AX you're paying $1,220 plus 20% US import tariff ($244) = $1,464 Say $1,500, a little more for the platinum plated one. This is for a small displacement "A" sized engine. Makes an NOS Conquest .15, Medallion .09 / .15 RC or Tee Dee .09 / .15 RC very cheap by comparison. Some of those presented in the Cox engine of the month contest are real beauties.
I don't see anything special about a .11 displacement OS engine. Almost inspires me to highly polish one of my Gilbert .074's or .11's and mount it on a trophy base (facetiously, not that I'd really do it).

Sorry to hijack George, those are some crazy expensive engines. Not for me, I like my dull aluminum oldies.

Ron, I didn't see a hijack, this is just discussion, nothing serious, so no need to apologize. Yes agreed, a dull aluminum runner is certainly a winner.
Those ultra expensive OS engines (and not any particular person) remind me of this song:
Yup, and concur about Matthew 7:13. "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it." (NEHB)
