Super Tigre G21 .35 stunt conversion.
I purchased a couple ST ABC cylinder sets from Brian Gardner in Australia. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the fit and finish. The ABC is nice, but I was more interested in converting the BB Combat version that was gifted to me from Fred into a stunt engine that will do a 4-2-4. Not cheap by any means, but worth it to me.
I am attaching a few pictures so you can see the difference in the port timing.

Re: Super Tigre G21 .35 stunt conversion.
Ron,
Can't wait to see the results!
Will this be a BB stunt engine?
I have a few of the ABC sets from Brian, and the quality is just amazing.
After ordering and receiving two FP-40 sets, I discovered a set of OS FP-40 ABN parts in my OS parts box, that I didn't remember buying!
Unfortunately, I'm no longer flying C/L, due to age induced balance problems! May have to go back to R/C, as I can probably fly standing still, or sitting in a lawn chair.

Hopefully Brian gets around to the Fox .35 stunts. I'm dedicating my last new crankcases to them.

Bill,
Sorry to hear about your balance problems! R/C would be the way to go. Yes this will be a BB stunt. Slated for a Magician or perhaps a Tanager.

I hope so too, I didn’t even know he was thinking of doing them. They are about $100 a pop, but I can see why now that I have one in my hands.

Well, the Super Tigre Piston/Cyl assy came with gasket and head shims. So I imagine he has gaskets available. The Thunder Tiger is a completely different animal than a Super Tigre, not sure where you get gaskets for those.
Edit: looks like Thunder Tiger is out of Taiwan, they have a website so you may be able to get gaskets direct from the company.

Re: Super Tigre G21 .35 stunt conversion.
Many .15 size engines are interchangeable. Seeing that most Thunder Tiger engines are almost one in the same as OS, I would start there. Essentially, the same designer was responsible for many of these engines. Eric can you measure the OD and ID. Are you 100% certain it's missing? It's difficult to tell because they fit so tightly in the head.
Ron, Brian told me he didn't have a price but he feels they're going to be over a hundred. While this took off with great expectations, a certain crowd I know jumped in and decided that they wanted many changes. He is supposedly offering a stock version and a racing version. I really don't know why, because all of our events mandate stock Fox equipment. Therefore, none of Brian's options can legally be used. But, there's those that just have to push the envelope. Now, the crank will break due to more power and the engine will need a crankshaft better than the stock one.

Re: Super Tigre G21 .35 stunt conversion.
Eric,
If you have the old gasket you can just trace it onto gasket material and cut it out. You can also do the same without an old gasket. Just trace around the crankcase. Measure the opening and cut to fit. Quite simple and cheap.

Looks like a Enya .15 would be identical.
