All,

One of my TeeDee 051s has a cracked Carb Body; whilst I will probably replace this with either an aluminium or plastic one, because I intend to use this in a CL stunter I am toying with the idea of putting a Medallion 049 carb body on it to possibly improve reliability of fuel draw.

Anyone got any experience of doing this?

Go for it. Unless you need the Tee Dee's max power output for contest, this is the way to go. Far less finicky and far less prone to pain in the ass teardowns and cleaning of micro-blockages in fuel system. Will also have better fuel draw for stunt work.
