Cox Engine of The Month
Can anyone tell me

Re: Can anyone tell me
Your boat was made by Remco in the mid 80's. Of the versions I have seen, they were originally twin electrics and someone converted it to the Cox configuration. The clear plexi in the center was also a convert as the original had a red/white plastic engine housing behind the pilot. I think it's done rather nicely and I would certainly make a attempt to use it.

Goodness no, keep it as is and buy another engine.
I would be eager to put it in the water and see what it does. Looks like someone had an idea.
Just MHO, but it's yours to do with what you see fit.

Thanks, guys, The conversion was first class, the colors match exactly, pieces look machine made, and the skegs look like they never had shaft holes in them. I think I'll make this one a dust collector on the shelf, the next time my yard floods I'll get her wet on the bottom. Might put a nicer prop on, though.
