The one I still kick myself in the rear for not buying... I decided instead to buy the Lil' Jumpin' Bean. The tracings for the beginner Ringmaster going around here are from my Estes Beginner Ringmaster......

Re: Lil' Stunting Ringmaster
Paid $58 with priority shipping. Really wanted this one because of the factory seal. Already have original one from the 80"s that I use for patterns. I modify the wingspan out to 26 to 27 inches. The fuselage is lengthened for beam mounts and balance. Haven't tried a Norvel on the Baby Ringmaster yet.

I think they tried to make it look "vintage", look at the cockpit

Lol, maybe I'll paint my Hyper Viper like that... see if I can induce a full blown projectile eruption from you at show and tell one night.batjac wrote:
Is it just me, or do the 'modern' paint schemes that Estes put on all the Ringmaster boxess look just awful? I'm not usually a purist when it comes to covering or painting a plane, but just, just.... Eck!

You dodged a bullet in my opinion. The Bean flies much better than the BRM.

Re: Lil' Stunting Ringmaster
Thanks. Well, that's good to hear. I do have a Baby Ringmaster, just not the Sterling version. I will hopefully fly them both this year. That is one of my many goals.....
