Swap Meet in Kalamazoo Mi
Kim did such a good report on his visit to Granite City’s swap meet, i thought I post the meager findings I ran into at this years 26th annual Swap Meet in Kalamazoo, Mi http://nebula.wsimg.com/e558ea806493d0037ca29317af97fab2?AccessKeyId=E2EEBA801AD307F33E89&disposition=0&alloworigin=1
I should have read the directions closer, as it was being held in a different location than in past years. Rather than at the Wings(hocky team) practice ice rink “Wings Center” it was at the Expo center at the County Fairgrounds. Well there were Three Events going on simultaneously. A gun and knife show along with a reptile exposition, and The RC Swap meet. The gun and knife show was in the north pavilion the reptile show was in the south building in the RC swap meet was in the side annex. There were many vendors with just a few empty tables. Plenty of RC cars/trucks and tons of foamy (electric ) airplanes. I did spend a lot of time digging through the $1, $2 and $5 bins looking for something that I didn’t have. The one table, a husband and wife team had some big totes full of glow engines that I didn’t recognize other than the K&Bs and occasionally a Enya. Bob could have picked out the Good Ones! The tagged prices on the displayed tanked Baby Bee,s was $35 -$45, so what she responded with after I asked how much they wanted for the Cox HyperViper, I couldn’t get my wallet out fast enough!

Nice plane there. I remember seeing one in my LHS years ago when I first got into the game, and wanted it, but they steered me clear of it to the Beginners Ringmaster and Lil Jumpin Bean with a Black Widow. AFter that I heard how bad the Hyper Viper was and was glad I stayed away from it. Then I hear of how they do fly nice, then kick myself in the pants again... Are the wings solid foam, or a hollow core?

Eric, can you give some info about the engine in your avatar. Engine, box, accessories? Thanks.
Note: I think that it is traveling engine box.
