Wow that’s a clean workbench!
Nice model, I like the FW190. Are you going to fit a cowl?

Yeah, the kitchen bench. Can't imaging I'd be too popular with someone if I brought my model building inside the house.getback wrote: That is a nice work shop / counter !

Re: 1/2A FW 190 Build
What a great idea. I will have to file that one away.
Why a used drier sheet? And, what did you use for glue? I would be tempted to use thinned carpenters glue rolled or brushed on and weighted down on a flat surface.
No bevel on the mating parts? Guess the pennies give proper clearance.

Thanks Guys, Bob I used a used dryer sheet because all the fabric is out of it, It bonds really well with the super glue and balsa. I will bevel where the elevators meets the stab with a folded piece of sandpaper . and yes , the pennies are just used as a spacer.

Is that all ply for the engine mount? Or balsa and ply? Either way you could get away with a lot less and reduce the nose weight considerably. Hope you are having fun!

Re: 1/2A FW 190 Build
Hey Ron, Yes that is a big chunk of ply, I was wondering if anyone was going to bring that up,
.I Tend to build them heavy. As it sits it is Balanced though. I just used what I had laying around the shop. I plan on cutting the next one I do in half. Thanks for the comment.
