Private Message Feature

If the message goes to your "outbox" the message has been "sent", it just hasn't been opened by the recipient yet. Once the message has been opened, it will appear in your "sentbox".

One problem (I have been guilty of in the past) is you receive the "New Private Message" popup and view your PM inbox but don't click on the message to view it... perhaps saving it for later when you have more time... and it gets forgotten about. Worse, even though you haven't read the message, your inbox link on the top navigation bar reverts back to saying "You have no new messages".

Note: If a message has a red icon in your PM Inbox, you haven't read it yet, and the message will still appear in the sender's "outbox". Another note: even if your inbox is 100% full, you can still receive messages, the oldest message will be deleted with a new one comes in.
