A Little Control Line Action Late in the Day on Breezy Hill
We had a great little impromptu flying session on Breezy Hill late yesterday afternoon.
Billy, Richard, Ronnie, Patrick and I hit the field around 2:30, being rewarded with nice air... just a light, smooth breeze over the hill. We flew 'till we lost the light.
Billy had his dad's Butterfly back in the air...cruising around like Downtown-Saturday-Night. He put in several flights, and took it home in good shape.
Patrick had his Vintage Performance Models... https://www.facebook.com/vintageperformancestan/ .."Jr. Ringmaster" trying different length lines. The Fox .15 hauled the plane nicely on 60'.
He also had his Leo-built Top Flite "Combat Streak" out for it's first flights since being re-engined with a Fox .35.
I got flights on my Charlie Bauer-built "Nobler' and my Swap Meet Sig "Zlin".
Everything worked well, sorry I didn't get photos of Billy's Butterfly...I'll get him next time!

Kim, the Combat Streak with the Fox .35 is my favorite warm up plane. I love flying them and I can't believe I waited so long to try one. I had at least a dozen Flite Streaks. Loved all of them but when I flew the Combat Streak, it was night and day. They're awesome and the one you pictured looks great. Ken

Thanks Ken!
Leo built this Streak several years ago, and flew it often with a McCoy .35 Redhead. I had to do a bit of hacking on it's nose to get Patrick's Fox .35 in there, but it looks like it's gonna work.
