Re: Cox LiL Stinker cockpit glass WANTED
Amen. I need three or four too. There's a guy on eBay that reproduces parts for prop rods, shrikes and water wizards that does canopies. I've thought about asking him. There's a guy selling some for $27 each and they look like vac forms. No way. I'll go without.

Re: Cox LiL Stinker cockpit glass WANTED
I asked Chris at Red Venom Reproductions (redvenomrepros.com) and he said he would consider the project after the holidays in February. His products look nice and they are priced fairly. I told him I could use some mustang and corsair canopies too. He currently has prop rod canopies in clear and smoke and shrike canopies in different colors. Other bits as well like steering wheels and engine pods. Tons of stuff for Baja bug and dune buggy.
I will follow up with him next year.

Unfortunately the guy from Red Venom Replicas has decided to shut down and retire, Sorry I should have updated this thread earlier. He did point me towards the materials he was using. I may give it a try in the future.

Re: Cox LiL Stinker cockpit glass WANTED
I've bought and used the 27 dollar canopy guy's product. It is styrene and a little thinner than stock , I did put some heat to it so the contour was a little better but looks pretty convincing.

There is this one on the bay. A little steep in my opinion, but free ship. It’s also tinted so it may not be a suitable substitute.
