I wonder if a L/H propeller would make a difference with banking-right? A cheap and easy enough modification to try..
edit; The reed-valve engines will run either direction rotation. The Cox "black" 6" x 2" L/H (2-blade) came stock on their PT19 Flight Trainer. As L/H 1/2A propellers go; that would be a good choice and probably the easiest to source.
If your engine has a R/H cam-style spring-starter.. you'd need to remove it if using a L/H propeller.

Maybe some right rudder and make the right aileron go up more in right turns. Great looking plane!
