Oops, sorry. Didn’t mean to get your hopes up. The engine with drive gears I have is for my Corvette I was working on for the “ Cars are the Stars” a while back. I will keep a look out for one for you. Babe Bee .049

Hi Mike,
In the diagram shown above I need the entire engine.I do have the geared flywheel with the cooling fins.I have read that the crank is larger/stronger than the one on the Babe Bee .049 airplane engines.Has anyone used a standard Babe Bee engine on these tether cars?

David, I think I have what you need. This engine differs from a standard babe bee in that the crankcase nose is much larger diameter (.495")to fit the support plate. For some reason, the needle valve stem is also shorter. There was no drive plate on this engine when I got it. I put the pictured one on in anticipation of using it in an airplane. I don't know if it is even used with the flywheel.

David,

This is what I have.  If you want it I only do United States Postal money order (USPS) and I would like $35.00 shipped and insured United States Postal Service.  If you want it send me a personal message with your address and I'll send you mine.

That looks (to me) like what you need. Here's a Cox GT40 tether-car chassis photo showing the engine and it's gear.
