Re: Enya 06 reed valve
If all else fails you can probably git 'r done by cutting a rounded end rectangular one from a piece of floppy disc mylar.

Re: Enya 06 reed valve
You could message E-Bay seller shtterman if he may have one stocked. Not all things he has are listed on E-Bay.
ticomareado had a good suggestion to fabricate your own. You have nothing to lose, if it works you'd have a solution to post a thread here in this forum to benefit others.
BTW, those Enya's have a classic look, would be good on a half-A singled channel R/C plane of the 1950's, 1960's.
Good luck, George

Re: Enya 06 reed valve
just buy or cut reeds for typical Cox engines....the actual shape does not need to be exactly like your original

Re: Enya 06 reed valve
If you still have the original reeds that are in the engine.
Remove the back plate (like you did on one photo.
Next carefully remove the spring with needle nose pliers.
Now, in a glass of "Hot" soapy water ( I use dawn grease remover in a larger water glass.)
Insert the end with the reed into the hot/soapy water.
Let it sit for a while to loosen up the reed from the housing.
When you see the reed drop away, remove the housing from the water.
If it hasn't us a pair of fine tweezers and remove the reed carefully without bending it!
Next, dry the reed by sliding it across a larger sheet of paper.
Move the reed over to another (dry) piece of paper and slide it across he paper.
What you are doing with the paper is removing the crud off the reed.
When the reed feels like it slides easy across the paper, reinstall it back into the housing and install the "C" clip.
Now "if" you didn't bend the reed, the reed has been cleaned and ready to run!
