First flight (for me) of a steel cable dog in 2020!

My Jetco "Shark" got in 6 full flights, and came home in one, attractive chunk!

No flying video/photos on this outing...maybe next time!!!

I own a few of those Enya .19's myself. Remarkable quality engines and mine are generally one flip starters. I also have a .35 from that era. For those who never experienced using them, you would be pleasantly surprised. Terrific runners which are extremely underestimated. One of the Jersey guys flies his Shark at our contest which is held in June. He can burn in some good flights with it. My current build is a Ringmaster Flash which I will be using a Fox.15, however two or three other .15's share the same pattern including the TD .15 so I have some options.

Great little castor slingers! My Shark 15 is grossly "over-engined" with this .19, but it's from a time when we flew what was on hand, and so, Uncle Wayne bolted it to his.

I'm currently running it on 52' x .012's, but am gonna swap in a 60' set if I can find the suckers.

Didn't know if you already had a set on the hill and just couldn't find them or if you were looking for a source.  About the best price I've run across is theBay -- use the search term:  1X7 Stainless Steel Cable Wire Rope  and set the seller to:  cml_store1688.

You get  .3mm 304 Stainless 1x7 braided cable --- 500' for $14.32 shipped.  You can choose other diameters and lengths if you want.

Thanks Andrew! I may hit them up. I'm pretty sure I've got a new set on a reel somewhere, waiting for me to find it!

Yep...a kitchen mat from Walmart.  I take a cordless screwdriver with me that lets me adjust it for different size wings.  My poor shooting table has accumulated a lot of "craters" over the years!
