COXADOODLEDO
Thought about naming it that and using the COX Forum decal, but considered it too much of a stretch, so going with the IHOP thing instead. If I can get Mark to shrink it to about 1 1/2" I can put it on the chimney or perhaps build a billboard for it .
What happens when you lay off planes, trains, and automobiles for a couple of days.
Bears destroyed the last three I built, but this one is more substantial. We shall see.

If the roof was a little closer to orange, it could be a HoJo! Ice cream and a swimming pool would finish it up!

Re: COXADOODLEDO
Thanks guys, love all of those. You blow me away with your ideas. All I could come up with was IHOP, was thinking Howard Johnsons but it wasn't Bird oriented. Snoopy would be wonderful too, he pilots one of my Biplanes. Barns in my area are painted in those yesteryear themes like pouch tobacco and Rock City.
Rethinking my idea. Love that Bob's Hobby Shop. Mark Boesen did something similar awhile back for the shed pictured in the background. He suggested Bob's Prop Shop. Got the prop over my display case but can't figure how to do the letters in a logical manner.
As of 8 am this morning, no birds or bears have appeared...……..

These are about 13.8" wide.

I originally made it with a red plane, forgetting that the roof was red.

Re: COXADOODLEDO
Perfect Jacob,
Is there anything that you can do with that IHOP logo? My printers software will not let me resize to any specific size. I would like to put it on the chimney. It's dimensions are 1 1/2" facing and 2" off at 90 degrees.

PS: Had to leave room on the chimney to let rain water escape. Hmm, just occurred to me, could have been a bird bath or water basin…..
Thanks - Bob

If you print this PDF at 100% the logo should come out at 1.5" wide.

Absolutely, you too.

Re: COXADOODLEDO
Hi, That picture was taken by a pro, just not me. I should have mentioned that I found it on the net as an example.
Yes, I have a game camera. I have caught many a deer, fox, etc, roaming my property at night. Also have several 20 second videos of bears destroying my bird feeders.
Nice looking waterfall. How did you construct it? Looks like formed concrete. I built a couple of fish ponds in Florida and a center fountain, but never a waterfall. I chased an alligator out of the top pictured pond with a 2X4. Little guy only about 5 feet.

Re: COXADOODLEDO
Wow, what a backyard you have!
Here's the fountain before I covered it with concrete, and coated it with some sort of waterproofer. Note I used foam sheets and sealed expandable foam packing bags (from mail packing supplies store):

I ran a train tunnel through and path around it, for an eventual outdoor train layout.
BTW this is a nice source of information for live video cameras, sounds expensive though: https://birdwatchinghq.com/stream-live-animal-cam/

Thanks, and what I was looking for. I'm thinking about building something similar only in a smaller scale for my HO gauge model trail layout.
A door bell cam for birds. Neat.
Thanks - Bob

Good morning! I wanted to know if it is okay to use the site logo on one of my model planes? Specifically, the one for the Traveling .010 engine? I have the engine currently and built a plane especially for it and I believe it would make an excellent promotional "eye candy". No, I have no intention of manufacturing them for resale ... it's just for this one model ... maybe a couple of other different ones if it tickles my fancy to build anything else in the same genre.

Not sure of your intent, but do you mean something like this?

Hope not or I'm in a heap of trouble.

Yep, exactly! You got it! Just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be stepping on a patent, copyright, or some such if I decided to go that route.

I think it was Levent that offered these on both rectangular and oval shapes. I printed them out exhausting my red ink supply in the process.
