My first Super Stunter replica build failed, after monocote covering disaster, read here,

I can't wait to see the finished product. Should be totally Awesome! Your work in drawing out the plans is also, Awesome. After you get done and fly it, any chance I could get the plans? I always thought I'd like to do one on a pressurized TD .049 engine.

Pins, well, its Czech production , called "Modelářské špendlíky" (Modellers Pins), i bught a pack at scale model contest past winter, in Bratislava, Slovakia.

I don't think I read about the Monokote issue.. but this airplane looks beautiful! Have you any photos of how you made the bellcrank mount.. and lead-out/guide detail?

Balsa replica of Cox Super Stunter build, just finished.
AUW 360 gram's.
50 grams heavier than COX plastic one, mostly due the 30 grams of lead put in the tail, to place CG point right.
Ready for flight tests...

Moving the wing foward is an excellent idea as it keeps the fuselage as you designed and all the proportions. It looks great!

Great looking model, looks just like the original, by now you probably realize that building it to exact proportions of the original messes up the CG as The plastic one balances different. Looks great though.
Your engine runs need some help, if it were me I would run a Medallion. Very little chance of air leaks and if it does run poorly it’s most likely the tank. A better run and a little more power and you will actually to be able to stunt!
