Litle hope for m'y litle miss monica went for flight wit the tigermoth no trouble wit his old hard To set dx6i m'y scroll buton wont work properly just change the part wit m'y new dx6i that haved range trouble tink wil continue the plane now

after having flown the tiger moth to make sure that the controller Works well Works fine despite the few difficult trim buttons that I have to push hard I worry that when I go for the first flight Of having difficulty wit the first trim Having trouble trying to adjust the controls

Thats nothing compared to mine at the time , i have been working off the bed till i can get myself talked into taking a break from the real world and cleaning it up !! I hope the radio don't give you problems in the air

landing gear wit light weight balsa spacer to center its wheel inside the wheel pants

Well I made some progress the engine is in place with the servo for its carburetor I have not tested on the plane but extremely efficient on the car on which I tried the modified engine the litle wasp .061 carb work so Good on tee dee .051 I believe that with the new silencer the performance should remain the same. I hope the gas tank is working well I find it far and a little low in the fuselage

Just the receiver to install and test after adjusting all the controls I will do an engine test

I have to wait to receive a part for the voltage i have To use a bec To reduce the voltage of the system I have not test a 2 cell lipo direct To the Reciver Which can take from 3.5 to 8.5 volts Because the servos use an operating voltage of 3.0 to 5.0 volts the other 4.8 to 5v I am already afraid of over-boosting them
I want to use the stabilization system built into the nanolite receiver The as3x system consumes a lot of power Because as3x constantly corrects the plane so that the plane remains very stable. In the wind
The servos are used a lot and can easily overheat with too much current

“piper 150” got me voltage regulators are really smart to have if you have a receiver that needs lower voltage than 8.4. I assume that’s what you’re using...

I use a bec For the servo the ones I use for the aileron Needs less volt That the other servos with the as3x system the servos will already be very required .Too much voltage could damage them prematurely from over heat The nano receiver with as3x is able to take a small lipo two cells without problems In my tiger moth I use the same type of receiver but without as3x and its litle futaba servo can also take 8 volts I believe the small battery in m'y piper should give me at least an acceptable flight time With great stability the system works for us to correct much faster It's hard to explain, let's say it's like flying with a bigger model Who would not be affected by the wind As much as little one This gives me no power but allows me to avoid maneuvering certain channel like ruder for knife edge I choose the angle I want so I can focus on the other commands No, it's not an automatic pilot

as3x is nice, i have it in a lot of my planes.

Surprise surprise the postman came by today I received a package with a surprise inside a measuring tape identify with the cox international logo I like the surprises thank you very much in this package I have pieces to personalize my little miss monica I can't wait to see the yellow or the white looks better on her one or the other she has both colors still undecided on the color scheme

Heard so many problems with spectrum stuff.

I got a cheapo futaba and radiolink, both 2.4 as my 27 and 35 MHz kit is old now.

Don't like the modern trim buttons, toooo slow when adjusting. The older kit is adjusted click by click quite quickly or instantly.

À tes the dx 6 e and its very difrent from m'y older dx6i that working Find its m'y trim buton that is broken but its al Good now an i have two dx6i the new one lost signal once and i was luky Not To crash the older one never lost its signal mabe the controler antena module is defective its a fragile parts mabe the signal range Not est correct The old controller I never changed anything in the programming but the other I changed the parameters in the more in-depth menus i was programing for a 3D heli and download one installation wit the USB port but tink it change the range or Somting deap in menue i like simple tings To i stil To this day use a old futaba wit cristal Not To often it was in m'y first .40 trainer that now has crack in the midle wing and it flex mabe m'y old ez bee can use this To keap the vintage feal wit the super long antena
