Looks very pristine, unused and box overall is in excellent condition. These days that is not a whole lot of money given inflation. In 1970 dollars, that would be $180 (2020) = $27 (1970).

There is a listing for the P-40 going for $425 + $35 shipping Total = $460!  

Is the P-40 more rare than the PT-19 (assuming both in similar newer condition, with box and papers?)

Current price is $0, $300 is the asking price, nobody has bid on it and probably won't. It's a nice early version, but not worth $300 plus the $60 for shipping.

Check out the pictures.  The way that the cylinder has obviously been removed rings HUGE alarm bells for me.    Also, the seller's claim that it is brand new and mint is wrong now that an inexperienced (his own admission) person has dismantled the engine and attempted to run it.  He just halved the price.  Oh yeah, and he's also opened and used some fuel.  Better to sell it with the engine locked up than to butcher it like he has.  What are some people thinking?
