AeroFred Tunder Lightning
Once in a while I come across an airplane that catches my eye because it has potential for Cox engine power:
Aerofred: Tunder Lightning V2 (35in./88.9cm)

This one is an electric sheet foamie, but could be easily modified for anything from a Sure Start to Medallion or Tee Dee. Not planning to build, but just saying.

GG,
You must have gotten their email today. I said the same thing when I got their email this morning.
I wonder how this one would do with a quick colorcoat and polyurethane fuel proofing. If I weren't bogged down between a pile of 1/2 built kits, I would try it. I got a half sheet of 1/4" foamboard a while back. So far it has served to make a mock-up of the Guillow's Typhoon displayed several weeks back.

I guess we are all getting the same email..... Jim, I am with you in having a bunch of 1/2a stuff currently on the go, and hangar space is honestly full. So I guess I gotta get out flying trying new things to help in clearing hangar space.....

Yup, NEW222 and Jim, I'm subscribed to AeroFred, so I got the E-mail. Choice of materials, I'd probably make it from Dollar Tree foam board, use Acrylic urethane and Rust-O-Leum rattle can, but paint in British style camo.
Nope Bob, not a lady's plane, nothing says it must be painted pinkish red.

Do it George. It sure isn't wanting for wing.
I used Hobby Lobby's "White board" for one of mine and it turned out rather well. White board, a couple of dowels, a little balsa and your home.
For those that don't know Yippee was the 5000th P-38 produced.
