Have used them for years to bend copper tubing on the metal fuel tank kits I go from Brodak.Spring tubing bender Tank_k10

They are OK. The spring type benders of all sizes suffer the same limitations, risks of getting stuck and all. Lubrication can help.

I got a set from a friend , long time ago , and for some time i didnt even know what they were for . ( they were all loose out of the pack .Thought it was a part for a plane or something at the time , he had gave me a bunch of stuff !

I remove plastic coating of 1 mm diameter garden wire, then wrap the iron wire around tubing closely. After bending unwrap wire.
