Bought my 5th engine and my first tee dee. This one has an aftermarket needle which is supposed to be more precise than the original. Planning to put a carburettor on and 1oz fuel tank for extended flights, maybe build a new airplane around it, something fast and simple to build like the  the flutterbug.Oops I did it again. Gordinir8:  you should save the Venturi-needle assembly. First it is a 128tpi needle for precise tuning, and second they are in short supply and very valuable here in the US, (over $25.00USD). Two Cents

Enjoy your TD.

That is a Kern Kraft (Kustom Kraftsmanship) needle valve assembly.
You need to keep it.
Those are highly sought after for how precise the adjustment is.
I have a few of them on some Tee Dees, and Kern Kraft needle valves on some Cox .049 engines as well.
