Re: Cox DR Triplane
rsv1cox: did you see my post about the Cox-Triplane? I haven’t been able to post the link due to my MacBook being in pieces, but search eBay for it and you should get a good idea based on what you have. Width of wing and chord.

Thanks HD, I looked at them all and couldn't find one that would fit my needs. All I need are the dimensions of the H stab and elevator.

Bob: I asked the seller for the wingspan. The wingspan is 3X the elevator width, and the fuselage length is 6X the elevator length. Go from there. Make an outline of the tail area as best you can. Google the wingspan and fuselage length if you have to. I used fingers to measure. If you want to be really accurate get out your calipers.
I’ll wait for the sellers answer. Still waiting for a special tool to fix my MacBook Air. Pentalobe .8mm. I watched a utube video tell me a pentalobe 1.2mm or P5 as he called it was the ONLY tool needed. Wrong.
I ordered a P2 and they wanted to know if I wanted. Phillips #2. Chinese and Americans speak 2 different languages.

Re: Cox DR Triplane
Thanks again HD, I can work out the particulars by the information you gave me. Ball park is close enough and I can visualize the elevator/stab using the plan under the plane.
The other day I was searching on ebay for a jewelers tool kit, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, drivers when I came across a computers geek tool kit with all the bells and whistles. Given your attraction to them, maybe it's something you could use.

Send me a picture I probably already have 2.
