I was going to post my repair/rebuild of my RR-1.
But Jason beat me, and posted his RR-1 first. (should I post mine next month?)

I did almost the same thing as Jason_WI for the back plate.
My back plate had two mounting hole broken off.
Took a metal back plate from a Baby Bee, drill the hole out then reamed the hole
with a long taper reamer to get a good tight fit so it would not leak like Jason's does.

Hand taper reamer set: good for soft metals, like aluminum, brass, copper, and plastics.

Thanks Jason for the idea on how to get a replacement backplate for my RR-1.
One thing to add. I used a hand reamer that has a long taper to get a good and tight fit from the venturi to the back plate.
No leaks.
