Dave, I have one or two of them. They're cylinder timing shim holders for 3 different thickness shims. The holder itself
works as a shim, but I forget it's thickness. I got mine from KustomKraftmanship back in the 70s.

Some of the car engines used mufflers. The shim could've been used to block off SPI by lifting the cylinder. In addition, I know some of the cylinders and I think it might be a #6 was used on the QZ/ QRC engines which didn't require the shim because the exhaust port was cut higher in the cylinder.

the parts named riser came wit casing only ? No parts number its rare stuf very old y need timing chim for new engine build that parts Not exact size y nead thick chim To supres spi in tuned modified engines y build just tired of modify coper seal
