Conquest Prop nut wanted
In order to fix the rotor of my Kress ducted fan to the engine, I need a prop nut which was not in the box. I searched the internet but could not find what I needed. I think it's called a well nut.
The rotor is higher than the crank shaft stud and the nut goes into the rotor hole and acts as a center guide as well. It is like the Conquest nut that Mecoa sells, only with a longer shank.

The nut sold by Mecoa:

As what dimensions is concerned:
Shank diameter:1/4" (this is the diameter of the hole in the rotor)
nut thread: #10-32
shank length: about 3/4"
The hexagonal head size is not critical, can be for an allan key also
Kress calls this piece a "hex rotor adapter bolt":

Is there someone that has such a nut or can make one on a lathe by e.g. transforming a 1/4" diameter bolt?

I’ll have a look in my conquest stuff and see if I can find one. How hard would it be for you to find or have one made in France?

The easiest would be to make your own in lathe, or if you know someone with access to a lathe, it is quite easy if you start from a hex-bar stock.
If I understand the text correctly you also need to bore out the rotor to 1/4", if the one you have now is for the Cox .09 engine?
It looks like there currently might not be enough space for the nut, you'll need about 0.5-1mm clearance on either side of the axis, or else the nut will simply shear off at the threads.
The nuts can be made in a soft steel:

Thanks Ron, If I have that made here, I'd have to bring along my own tap set. #10-32 is considered as being from another planet.
That's the type of nut, as on the picture. I have the right rotor with 1/4 hole and counersunk back.

The #10-32 is an UNF-thread and it just happens to be very close in the dimensions to the more common, regular M-thread, M5x0.8.
So you have plenty of options, ready-made or someone can make it for you.
(An M5 nut will fit on the #10-32 bolt but not the other way around)
Here is one from the NovaRossi Rex .12 engine as an example:

Thanks for looking Ron
Do you or someone else have one of those:
This is an "adapter nut", medium length, made by Fox, part nr 60402. They come in a short, medium and probably a long version. They are offered on ebay. The thread is 10-32 but before any purchase, I want to know the shank length and diameter. I asked the sellers but haven't received any answer yet.

The one your showing on the bay is 1/4 - 28 thread i thought u needed a 10-32 thread? If so this is that https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOX-10-32-Medium-NUT-WASHER-ENGINE-PART-60402-AIRPLANE-RC-PARTS/114259175083?hash=item1a9a60a6ab:g:fDoAAOSwXf9e5nzY

Re: Conquest Prop nut wanted
In that picture I'm guessing that the prop will be on the right-hand side of that nut. I.e. the smaller part is meant to fit into a washer that goes against the prop. It will not extend into the prop at all.
The lefthand side is supposed to be the support for the spinner, it will have a smaller thread at that end than the one for the crank. I.e. the crank will not go all the way through that nut.
If you compare to the image I posted above, I have used a lathe to increase the distance of the part that is facing the engine side, while the outermost part is unchanged.
I see that you are not located in the USA?
If nothing else works out for you, I could possibly make something here and have it sent to you by regular mail. Not sure if I can find a tap for a #10-32 thread though.

Thanks for the offer Kris, I'll keep that in mind. For the #10-32 tap, I have a solution.
