Re: Kyosho Spitfire 5B Plans
It’s certainly an early Kyosho kit. That’s going to be a tough one. I would imagine it wouldn’t be too terribly hard to figure out where everything goes if you laid all the parts out. The elliptical wing would make it easy to sort ribs. Leading and trailing edges should be formed and tips will only make sense one way.
Bellcrank mount should have cutouts to accept it in rib. Fuselage bulkheads will be short to tall leading to cockpit and taller to short after the cockpit. Stabs elevator and rudder are probably sheet. Landing gear should be self explanatory. Being Kyosho the kit quality will be good and that will help with the fits.

Looks somewhat confusing to me....especially not being a Spitfire guy! Good luck!......and keep us posted on the build. Looks like a high quality kit!

I'm thinking 27 are the wing spars. I can't tell if the wing tip blocks are printed 26 or 28. I think they are 26. Now I wish I could get all the pieces and put them together. Looks like fun.

Shoot. You are probably right. I am going to remove my post, don’t want to be mis-leading.

Hmmm... I'm also not seeing provisions for the bellcrank in the wing center section #3, or leadout holes in the ribs. You may have to get creative.

Do you know if the kit complete? You could post on Stunthangar and see if anyone over there has seen this kit before.

No it's not a complete kit, it list the contents on side and some things are missing. It's a bit of a puzzle for sure but doable. I'll try Stunthangar.

The wingspan is 600mm which is about 23 5/8".

Re: Kyosho Spitfire 5B Plans
If you don't find the proper plan, why not take a scale Spitfire plan from Outerzone and scale it up/down to the same wingspan as your kit. It could give an indication where to position bulkheads and ribs and to avoid to end up with a distorted model.
